Students in this course will choose to focus on either playwriting or directing. Student playwrights work independently to complete at least one original one-act play during the two-semester course period. Student directors will acquire basic skills as an intern director for Theatre 1-2 classes. In the second semester, they will select and direct the Beginning Theatre's class Children's Theatre production and/or serve as student directors in a major school production.
